We've gotten a few great entries, but we'd like to extend the contest another week to accommodate those who did not understand some key points (we've been getting more questions than actual entries), and for those who have just been downright shy.

• By "Ice Cream" we also mean sorbet, frozen yogurt, etc. If it's frozen and can be eaten in a bowl or on a cone, either by spoon or by lick, it counts.

• There is no requirement that you have or use an ice cream maker for your recipe. The only requirement is that the recipe is original.

• There are prizes. Nothing too fancy, but definitely useful to an ice cream aficionado like you.
