
If you were like me, it was too hot to do any work whatsoever, and you lazed about with your feet up, reading the newspaper. What a pleasure it was to run across the article in the Sunday Magazine about ice cream (Eat Memory: I Scream, Colin Whitehead), with recipes by Amanda Hesser for Strawberry Sorbet and Almond Granita.
If that isn't inspiration for your flavor, I don't know how to help you.




As much as I wanted to come up with a recipe of my own, I discovered that Capogiro is *finally* available in Chicago (Bouffe in Lincoln Square). Heaven is called Ciccolato Scuro!!
