We saw this apron ($25, A+R) at Mighty Goods yesterday and just had to blog it. It's a design that makes it a little easier and safer to do what we do anyway - grab a hot pan with the bottom half of our apron. Two long flaps hang down in front with built-in oven mitts!
We love it and think that it's a potential space saver. But we might be missing an obvious design flaw - what do you think?
If the apron gets wet, it might not work as an effective oven mitt.

and since you'd grab with the inside of the apron, instead of folding the front-facing sides in as you might be doing now, you might be getting sizzling cheese on your bare leg or dirtying your clothes...hypothetically.
