Boxwood Design Studio's Linen Apron

2006_05_18-boxwood-linen-ap.jpg I'm not one for collections. I'd rather have one good thing, instead. And here is the one good apron I'd pick.

We first saw Boxwood Design Studio's linen apron in the January/February 2006 Saveur Magazine. It's all linen, in a gorgeous dark flaxen hue, with a wide-tabbed cotton neck strap and tie-waist, and a big pocket in front. The linen is substantial, and absorbent.

Simple, beautiful, and high quality. They are $51, with a $5 fee charged if you want monogramming. Go for the plain one, a classic.

Lots of coverage, but if you're a real splatterer, consider a lab coat instead of an apron.
