Appellation Wine is also having a tasting of organic wines tomorrow:

Celebrate Earth Day with a Sampling of Organic and Biodynamic Wines

Saturday afternoon, April 22nd -- 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Help Appellation celebrate Earth Day 2006 by joining us to taste some of the wines we have in the store, including two from Domaine Marcel Deiss, where winemaker Jean-Michel Deiss is a strong believer in terroir over variety - his wines are emblematic of this belief.

We hope that you will bring your friends to visit the store and learn about organic and biodynamic viticulture.

The Doyen of Biodynamic Wine-making in Europe (and possibly the world) Nicolas Joly, of Coulée de Serrant will be speaking at a seminar at the London International Wine and Spirit Fair on 16 May.

There will also be an opportunity to taste wines from over 70 Biodynamic producers, including Benziger and Bonterra (from the US) and the fantastic Champagne Fleury which had huge success at recent blind tastings in Paris.

Email Eleanor Standen at londontasting@biodynmy.com for further info and tickets.
