• Hudson Valley Wine and Food Fest: Take a day trip to this celebration of wine, food and music in the Catskill countryside. The Fest will be held 9/8-9/9 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. Tickets for the tastings are about $30.
• New Amsterdam Public: Support New Amberdam Public's efforts to push for New York City’s first year-round, indoor, public market where butchers, grocers, fish and cheese mongers, and other purveyors sell regional, sustainable food.
