Eating Greener: The Ecology of Food and Why It Matters

2008_11_07-aaronfrench.jpgOn Sunday, ecologist and chef Aaron French will present "Eating Greener: The Ecology of Food and Why It Matters" as part of the Sustainable Sundays series at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

 
 

French is chef of the Sunny Side Café in Albany, CA, and creator of the Sunny Side Organics line of sauces, dressings, and spice mixes. He also writes an EcoChef column for ten Bay Area News Group newspapers. He has a Masters in Ecology and previously traveled the globe as a tropical ecologist.

French's presentation will explore how understanding food ecology can help us make smarter eating choices. It will include a lecture, cooking demo, and Q&A.
