This summer we started to compile lists of the best shops, artisans, and markets for cooks and food-lovers in some of the cities where you, our readers, live. We've covered fourteen towns so far, and we'll be covering more soon! Your contributions and comments are a huge part of making these guides useful resources. Thank you so much! Here are links to the City Food Guides we've created so far.
There are plenty more to come, and we'll be going back and updating these as well.

Are you gonna do a Denver or Colorado Front Range guide? I have only been here for 15 months and can use the advice. I think I know a bunch of great places, but as a newbie I know there is so much more I can learn.

I third Pittsburgh. With a vibrant and diverse population, growing culinary scene, and the one-stop-shopping of the Strip District, even after living San Francisco, this city has taught me a ton about food.

I am a Philadelphian who went to school in Pittsburgh - both are deserving of the City Guide treatment.

If we're all voting for our hometowns, sure, Ottawa, ON.

Miami would also be good. There are so many food cultures there - Haitian, Cuban, Nigerian, Slow Food, Boutique hotel, swamp food, etc.

Louisville! Louisville! Louisville!
Denver! Denver! Denver!
I'm from New Orleans, so I have to cast a vote for it; but come on! everyone knows what a foodie city it is! No one knows the culinary delights of Louisville! I volunteer to put a list together if needed!
Not even joking.

I honestly cannot believe that Minneapolis/St. Paul has not been showcased yet. These two cities have so much to offer and is a foodie's heaven with it's array of farmer's markets/co-ops, restaurants devoted to keeping things local, home of Lynne Rossetto Kasper, and Pumphouse Creamery! Every day something pops up there that is new and exciting.

I just came back from a holiday in China, which leaves me thinking that Shanghai or Beijing might make for some very interesting Food Guides. For that matter, how about Tokyo?
Paris has been suggested above and I think that would be excellent.
Glad you are doing D.C. - great food town!

Go truly international - Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Saigon, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Dubai, Abu Dhabi.
I have foodie friends in most of those cities who might be willing to contribute, if you're interested :)

I second Ottawa!

Providence, RI! Food is huge around here. Amazing restaurants, serious farmers markets, and more 20-somethings than anywhere else I've ever been who openly admit that they spend almost as much on food as they do on rent--even for home cooking. It's a town of budding and established foodies!

@Food Monstar: I just think there are a few really wonderful, innovative places in the city, and lots of wonderful markets and things. I grew up in Toronto. I could have said Toronto, for it too is worthy. But it doesn't have Murray Street. Or Atelier.
