Popsicle Fun: Sail Pop Kit

2007_07_27-Pops.jpgThis Sail Pop kit caught our eye - we're thinking striped layers of purple grape juice and white pudding, or red and yellow cranberry and tangerine juices. We like the big size and sturdy handles, too.

$19.95 for the set of six at The Baker's Catalogue.

Do you make popsicles in the summer? What do you put in them?

My mom used to make pinacolada popsicles with strawberry chunks and Coconut flakes in them.
Also mango juice with pulverized mint. yummy.
Another good summer treat is good old fashioned frozen grapes.

Pureed mango with ginger and yogurt is my favourite. I also make them with any left-over liquid from pie fillings, jams, and other berry toppings - I just strain out the excess juice and pour it straight into popsicle molds.

These are great on a hot summer day (especially since we don't have AC!)
