Cinnamon Chips from Prepared Pantry

2007_11_19-CinnamonChips.jpgA friend gave us a loaf of the Cinnamon Chip bread from Great Harvest Bread, and is it good. We were wondering how they get those tiny, gooey bits of cinnamon inside, and we think we may have found the answer: Cinnamon Chips from The Prepared Pantry. They say that these chips were Selected by a national bakery for their cinnamon chip bread!

They come in a resealable bag and they can be added early in the baking process so they dissolve, or later so they keep their shape.

$2.69 for a 12 ounce package at The Prepared Pantry. See a picture of the finished bread after the jump...

You found cinnamon chips?!?!

I adore you. I was starting to think I'd imagined them. I've had a notion about a cookie and cinnamon chips for over a year now, but no chips.
