There are not many things we love more than our Thanksgiving pies — other than a slice of fabulous cake. Something about Thanksgiving always feels a little less structured with mountains of potatoes and rivers of gravy, and a dense and ultra-moist cake can make for a nice contrast. Plus, in praise of holiday cakes, we have a lovely little cake song for you that just may make your day.

Hot Chocolate on a Stick. The idea just sounds fabulous doesn't it? We have to warn you, once you make your own hot chocolate, you'll never go back to storebought and your friends and family will always receive a fresh batch at the holidays because it's so simple to make, there's no way you'll ever be able to deprive them of this simple luxury again.
