My favorite grilled sandwich is the Reuben: corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, russian dressing on sourdough rye.... Now that I am a vegetarian, I substitute marinated tempeh or marinated seitan for the corned beef.... Yummy!!! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!! Happy Holidays everyone!!

There is nothing quite as fabulous as a grilled dessert -- grilled peaches drizzled with honey and served over vanilla ice cream. Mmmmm!

Determining my most favorite thing to grill is prooving difficult. Hmmm, ok! Grilled cheese. Straight up. Good sourdough, yummy cheddar (sharp please), and served hot so the cheese strings out. Yum. With the temperature dipping a hearty grilled cheese is just what the doctor calls for.

I love love love thinly sliced and grilled zucchini, eggplant and spears of asparagus with a bit of olive oil, salt, ground pepper and a splash of balsamic vinegar reduction. Another favorite is simply grilled fish & shellfish - calamari and/or cuttlefish are my faves drizzled with olive oil, salt, ground pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. So satisfying.

I've always wanted a Panini maker because I'm vegetarian and I eat a lot of veggies and there's not a whole lot of variety with just veggies. My husband loves grilled cheese but I would go for salmon, chicken or burger.

Prosciutto, red pepper and fontina for my husband. Tomato and bufala mozzarella for me. My daughter will have cheddar cheese and Granny Smith apples. We would LOVE this!!!
