The Commonwealth Club is hosting a discussion panel on the growing water shortage in California, and how it affects the future of the food supply. The event is being held in conjunction with SF's Eat Local Month.

The panel is being held Wednesday, Oct 8, 2008 at the Commonwealth Club office on 595 Market Street in San Francisco. Registration and check-in is at 6:00 PM, and the discussion starts at 6:30 PM. The cost is $8 for Club/CAFF/Slow Food members and $15 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased online here.
