when i lived in san francisco, i used to go to trader joe's on saturday morning, as soon as they opened. there was a (polite, of course, this being San Francisco) scrum waiting outside well before opening time each week. and this was a store that had been open forever.

i can't *imagine* the chaos that will unfold on friday.

still, i'm intrigued. my grad program is on "spring break" this week so i might just have to indulge this masochistic urge and be there to witness the historic moment for myself. :)

might make a beeline for the wine store first.

anyone else going? am i crazy? or, alternately, overestimating the chaos?

i'm totally afraid of the chaos. as much as i love trader joe's, i've waited this long, so i think i'm gonna wait another few weeks and see if the hype dies down. or at least they'll hopefully have restocked by then...
