Well this is certainly different and lovely: a fried green tomato pie! The recipe is super easy and highlights this underrated tomato. You take a pie crust, add some sweet onion, garlic, and lots of green tomatoes. Then you smother it with cayenne, panko bread crumbs, and butter. This would be the perfect, surprising appetizer for a late-summer party.
