For me, music for cooking means beats that get hot pads high-fiving and tunes that make the hips wiggle between stirring the risotto. Not every song needs to have a quick tempo, but if it's slower, it'd better have a lilt keep my chef's knife rhythmically slicing an onion, gently scrubbing potatoes, or at least have a food theme.
