Despite the sweltering heat threatening to melt everything and everyone in New York City, I refuse to be cowed into submission! Summer has arrived, and there's still much to love about this season. We've been celebrating summer salads all week long, and what better place to look for kitchen inspiration than the bright, beautiful colors of the garden and farmer's market? From citrus' punchy yellows and oranges, to the pinks and purples present in cabbage and radishes, to the deep, verdant greens in snap peas, cilantro, and arugula - it's all there for us to eat, enjoy, and maybe even be inspired to paint a wall or put a new seasonal color accent in the kitchen.
