They're not dinnerware, per se, but Williams-Sonoma has this set of colorful bowls that my mom has--and I want! They call them ceramic mixing bowls, but they'd be serving bowls for me! (Mom uses the biggest bowl to make fruit an accessible snack in her kitchen.)
I mentioned this on the FB page, too, but for Fiesta, be sure to go to their factory site at http://www.fiestafactorydirect.com/ for great prices and deals. All great quality and MADE IN AMERICA! We're working hard at home to buy as much locally as we can and I extend this to things like dishes.
Ikea also has unbelievably inexpensive dinnerware. Like, an 18-piece set for $25.00. Many different color selections and styles, and very durable. Surprised this wasn't mentioned, as these are the cheapest, most stylish (for the price) dishes I've found....
Yes, why no mention of Ikea - they've got the same colors as the West Elm dishes shown and this Spring they're adding (according to The Guardian) a beautiful raspberry pink color in the Forsla line. I don't find this listed on either the Ikea UK or USA sites, yet, but I assume it will show up soon. Check it out here:

I LOVE my Fiestaware. Great colors and combinations of colors you can put together. Made in AMERICA. All pieces are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe and they wash up very nicely even stuck on food! Great quality. I am really happy I decided to make this our "China" when we got married. Great for everyday use and entertaining.
For any Brits reading this, Denby stoneware is the way to go! Made in the UK (some of their non-stoneware isn't, be sure to check) and with no lead added to any of the glazes. You can always find it on sale (often half-price). You can mix and match from different sets (eg. Imperial Blue + Greenwich) because the shapes and white glaze are identical, only the coloured glaze is different. They'll email you when pieces are being discontinued. And it's hard-wearing stuff - I read somewhere that a set survived Hurricane Katrina even though the whole house was destroyed!
Etsy should also be mentioned. There's a huge selection of vintage finds and wheel-thrown pottery that can be custom ordered just for you. I feel like there's nothing etsy can't be used for! :)
I have Oneida Colorburst dinnerware in Berry blue and Kiwi. It looks very much like the Crate & Barrel dishes but they've chipped like crazy. I think I'll be checking out Crate & Barrel. I love them so much they look so clean and minimal in the cupboard but so bright and fun on the table.
