Every year, we look forward to Thanksgiving leftovers almost as much as the main meal. We take pleasure in eating pancakes embellished with cranberry sauce, crispy pan-fried stuffing and mashed potatoes, and, of course, turkey sandwiches. Need some inspiration for your leftovers? Whether you're in the mood to eat lighter or want to continue indulging – pie shakes, anyone? – check out our collection of recipes and tips…

Leftover pie? This is not a problem we have.
If you have leftover fresh cranberries, they're great mixed into pancakes like you would blueberries. Had some this morning!
Last year, I used leftover cranberry sauce in place of the liquid in my standard scone recipe. I think they were the best scones I've ever made.
i'm thinking of killing two leftovers with one stone. Turkey shepherd's pie anyone?
I just made the cranberry sauce quickbread, and it's delicious!
Here's my version, slightly health-ified:

This year I'll be repurposing some butternut squash and fresh cranberries that didn't get used in Mark Bittman's autumn millet bake (the recipe can be found on Heidi Swanson's site, 101cookbooks . com). I'll also be adding some of our leftover cranberry sauce to my usual roasted tomato salsa for black bean burritos, which will have some of our leftover sweet potato in them.
As much as I love Thanksgiving, there's always so many leftovers that I get sick of the flavors in a few meals. I like to make sure my leftovers have a unique flavor profile of their own instead of feeling like holiday carryovers.
