When it comes to centerpieces for the upcoming holiday, there are always flowers (never a bad thing), gourds, and candles. But there are other ideas, too, that can freshen your Thanksgiving table and leave a lasting impression on your guests:
- Painted branches: Looks terrific in a bright primary color against a gray background.
- Leafy greens: Set some aside during food prep and put them in a vase or pitcher in the middle of the table. This arrangement of dark kale and mustard greens looks so lush and we love the deep green color.
- Horizontal branches Lay a large-ish branch down the center of the table (hey - there's blue creeping into the Thanksgiving table again!). Or hang a branch above the table's surface, as in image 4.
- Get graphic: Spell out a thankful phrase and incorporate it into a centerpiece. This once uses black lettering and river rocks against a simple white vessel.
