If there's one thing we really love — it's subway tile. Each and every time we come across a kitchen with subway tile, it sets the mood off perfectly and leaves us begging for more. We've come to a pretty heavy conclusion — if you have subway tile in your kitchen, the rest is typically a success as well! That surely goes for Terri and Evan's kitchen.
Terri and Evan remodeled their kitchen and they did a great job. The space is filled with sunlight that perfectly accents the sleek subway tile and the perfect pops of color. The combination of the subway tile, cornflower blue cabinets and country sink would make you think country on paper — but somehow Terri and Evan made it modern yet comfortable without being boring.
The shelving in place of cabinets makes the space feel very large and open. It also makes us want to run into our kitchen and organize everything! The different colored cabinets and mis-matching knobs make the space modern and funky, but not over the top. It's inspiring how lived in this kitchen looks, and lends itself to how successful the renovation was.
