Sweet Smoked Paprika from La Chinata
• $8.95 for two tins
• La Tienda
Smoked paprika is the semi-secret ingredient in dozens of my favorite dishes. A pinch lends smoky flavor to vegetables, an indefinable savory quality to casseroles and stews. This sweet Spanish paprika, wood-smoked, is one of my favorites. It's not spicy, but it has a sweet smokiness.
Each tin is 2.25 ounces.

I love this paprika and use it all the time. I bought my first tin in Ybor City.
Faith,
It comes in several 'flavors' - sweet, bittersweet, and hot.
You can get a HALF POUND of Smoked Spanish Paprika at Penzey's for the same nine bucks:

(And I'd be willing to bet it's just as good).
Sweet is the best - this is our family's favorite spice. We use it in homemade mayonaise, deviled eggs, roasted potatoes, potato salad, paella, etc. We've loved it for years!
