Mint chocolate chip is truly the king of all ice creams. All others are merely pretenders to the throne. Long live the king! All hail!
I'm not a huge ice cream person (duck and cover!), but when I eat it, I LOVE cookies and cream. It's like a mushed up ice cream sandwich!
My absolute favourite is orange-pineapple. My second favourite is grape-nut (it's an East Canada thing).
ginger all the way.
Cloudberry!
HMO - I am with you! MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chocolate comes a close second though
Chocolate. I feel childish when everyone has moved onto fancier icecreams as they got older, cut chocolate icecream still holds a spot in my heart.
Mint Chocalate and Crownie Chunk tie for second.
but** not 'cut'
Mint chocolate is the best if it's using chocolate shavings instead of chunks or chips. Like Baskin Robbins does it, or Thrifty back in the day (was Thrifty ice cream a nationwide thing?).
After that, coffee ice cream (or coffee heath bar ice cream) is my favorite.
Breyers Coffee
caramel! mmmm, Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra!
fruit and chocolate!
I actually have several favorites. I love vanilla because I use it as the test of a new ice cream brand. If they can do vanilla, they can probably do other flavors pretty well. Plus a good vanilla is harder than it seems to pull off!
But I also love fruit ice creams, especially peach and blackberry. And I absolutely adore coffee ice cream. Occasionally I will get chocolate, but I am usually disappointed by it.
My favorite vanilla is Bassett's, and I really love Haagen-Dazs coffee. H-D also makes a fantastic flavor called Vanilla Honeybee, whose proceeds go to support research into colony collapse disorder, which is rapidly wiping out honeybee populations all over the US. A good cause and a delicious flavor!! I looked for it in our local grocery store for a year before they finally started carrying it!
It's a tie between ginger-coconut and lavender-honey. And salted caramel is a close 2nd. Ok, I just love ice cream.
Meyer Lemon!
Oh, and orange-cardamom.
I'm really into (decaf) Earl Grey tea icecream (homemade and vegan).
Choclate malted crunch! I love pistachio too!
i LOVE rocky road!!
mint chocolate chip!
Pistachio, hands down.
I love a cup of half-pistachio, half-chocolate gelato. But my childhood favorite/currently craved flavor is Breyer's Vanilla Fudge Twirl, which is strangely difficult to find on the west coast.
Bailey's Irish Cream, grape, peach, strawberry, and cherry vanilla. I also like cotton candy flavored ice cream. And that Haagen Dazs vanilla honeybee is really delicious!
(No, I can't pick just one favorite. Too many good things! So my favorite is the one that currently sounds the best. Chocolate ice cream is always nasty, though.)
It's got to be either peanut butter cup or cookies and cream...just depends on what mood I'm in!
Though I like having chocolate ice cream on hand for milkshakes. Chocolate milk shake FTW!
HD dolce de leche and B&J chunky monkey
coffee ice cream! Or failing that, peach, but it's really hard to find good peach ice cream.
ube, please
I just made Salted Butter Caramel Ice Cream and that's definitely the best ice cream I have ever had but of all the other ice creams I am a fan of hazelnut gelato. I haven't had good hazelnut gelato in America yet but in Italy and Austria it's divine. I like all the nutty ones though.
