Who doesn't know yet about Julie & Julia, a movie that combines two best selling books about food into one very well-publicized film? The books (Julie & Julia and My Life in France) have been reissued with cover shots from the film. Interviews, contests, and special apps are popping up everywhere. Is a commemorative set of bakeware just around the corner? Normally, I would roll my eyes at such overkill and stay at home. But not this time. I'm still planning on seeing Julie & Julia, probably on the day it premieres. You can call me a geek but please, don't call me a foodie.
