Strawberry-rhubarb...Raspberry-peach...Blackberry-plum... The possibilities for combining summer fruit in delicious desserts are truly endless. Do you have a favorite?
I've recently fallen in love with the raspberry-rhubarb combination, primarily thanks to a recipe for Rhubarb-Raspberry Crostata over on Lottie + Doof (there's a link to the recipe below). This combination had never occurred to me, superseded as it is by the mighty strawberry-rhubarb duo. If you like tart fruits, you'll love the depth the raspberry adds to the bright rhubarb flavor. Mmmm...so good!
I'm also in the market for good combinations with blueberry. A pint of blueberries is just so dang expensive that I like to stretch it out by pairing it with another fruit. So far peaches are my favorite, especially if a little ginger is involved.
A few recipes to tempt your tastebuds:
• Rhubarb and Raspberry Crostata from Lottie + Doof
• Peach-Raspberry Pie from Martha Stewart
• Nectarine and Plum Tartlets from Epicurious
What summer fruit recipes are you making, or looking forward to making, right now?

I really like peaches and blueberries combined. But then again, I like most fruits in any way shape or form and I've never encountered a fruit pie or desert I didn't like.
1. Plum raspberry.
2. Rhubarb raspberry,
3. Apple blackberry (because I grew up with that) 4. Strawberry, blackberry, raspberry
5. Pear Apple
6. Kiwi Strawberry
Raspberry rhubarb is indeed an fantastic combination. I discovered it last year when making a pie for a fair. It didn't win, so we had to eat the leftovers. Peach raspberry is also a good combination.
My mom used to make cherry apple pies when I was a kid. I've been meaning to give that a try.
Peach blueberry. Or anything from Briermere Farms.
I really like blueberries and peaches also. My boyfriend and I make dutch-oven cobblers over fires and that's our favorite combo.
I'm going to try a peach-strawberry pie this weekend!!
I've done blueberry-blackberry in the past (for a super purple tongue!!)
I love rhubarb, any suggestions for good pairings with it?
I make a lot of freezer jam in the summer and I really like combining nectarines with fruits like blueberries; there's something about the flavor of nectarines that brightens up the richer, sweeter fruits.
Last summer I made a sour cherry- peach pie with a crumb top. The sour cherries at the farmer's market were pretty expensive so I added a few peaches to fill in. The sweetness of the peaches paired well with the tartness of the cherries.
I made a pear-blackberry pie a few years ago and it was amazing. I don't know why I haven't done it again... may have to rectify that soon!
Peachberry. Any berry paired with peaches is a divine combo!
I was going to say raspberry-rhubarb as well! I make a wonderful crisp, which caramelizes. Divine!
Not a combo of two fruits, but i love cooked blueberries with cinnamon. I made turnovers with this combo, and they were awesome, even if a bunch of filling did leak out while they baked.
