We've been shopping for bar-height stools for a while now and have been eyeing a few adjustable models that can be lowered to table height. Which got me thinking: They could be used in a pinch to seat extra people around the dining table!
Of course, without a back, they wouldn't be the most
comfortable seating choice, but would still make a good fill-in when entertaining a crowd. These are a few examples turned up on a search for inspiration for such an arrangement.
Stools at the dining table are a handy arrangement for small-space living, too. When they aren't in use around the table, they can be used as a perch in the living room, bedside tables, or end tables.
