Starbucks Surpasses All but One Fast-Food Chain in U.S. Sales

Proof that Starbucks really knows how to sell a cup of coffee — for the first time ever, they rank the second-highest sales of all U.S. chain restaurants.

While Starbucks brought in about $12.7 million last year, fast food giant McDonald's made almost triple that at $35.8 million.

Though, while many fast-food chains have seen declining growth, Starbucks' sales have continued to rise. It might be a while, but maybe that number-one slot isn't out of the question.
