Just when you thought your favorite seasonal coffee drink couldn't get any better, it's been deep-fried.
As state fair food vendors have known for years — everything tastes better after a trip through the fryer. Even pumpkin spice lattes.
One blogger turned her ingenuity (and fryer) towards this ridiculously popular drink. The trick is to take cubes of pound cake and soak them in your Starbucks pumpkin spice latte (or homemade pumpkin spice latte) and then fry them up. Does this still count as a pumpkin spice latte? Or just fried cake? Who knows.
Of course, sprinkling them with powdered sugar and cinnamon at the end is also highly recommended, and we don't really care what they're called by that point.
