Stacking and Nesting Kitchen Goods

When space is at a premium in the kitchen, the ability to stack or nest items can really help. Here, we're taking a look at products large and small - from spices to furniture - that stack or nest when stored. Most of these are purely utilitarian in nature, but the last two are slightly more decorative (yet still functional) selections that we just couldn't resist:

FIRST ROW:
1 This entire pantry is organized using Tupperware Modular Mates.
2 A staple: Nested Glass Mixing Bowl Set from Sur la Table
3 The Emeco Heritage Style Bar Stool brings classic design and small-space stackability to counter-height seating. Available from Paradigm Gallery.
4 This compact cookware set was made for camping by REI, but it just might work in a small indoor kitchen, too.
5 A stacking recycling bin set like this one at Tuwa keeps recyclables in order without taking up a bunch of space.

SECOND ROW:
6 REKO glasses from IKEA are shaped for stacking and they're only $2 for a set of 6.
7 We've admired these stacking canisters before - love their rectilinear shapes and white ceramic finish. Available at Amazon.
8 These are always available at World Market and you can choose from a set of six mugs or espresso cups and saucers.
9 The material combination in the Stacking Storage Tower from Design Within Reach is beautiful. And, it's on sale right now.
10 By Joe Colombo in the 1970's, this set of crystal drinking glasses is like a blooming flower. The irregularly-shaped vessels are designed so that they can nest into one another, albeit in an unexpected fashion. Available from Moss.
