A comment from our earlier post on Jamie Oliver's proper polenta sent us scurrying to Michael Chiarello's Napa Style website to find his own recipe for polenta served up platter-style. Well, we didn't find polenta, but we found something just as good - pizza loaded up with spring deliciousness so beautiful we want to eat it now.
This pizza is grilled instead of baked. We might take issue with the idea of pizza being grilled - is it truly pizza? But no matter - this is beautiful and has so many good things going on we don't know where to start. Smoked salmon! Asparagus! Capers!
We hardly ever watch Food Network TV, but we've always rather liked Chiarello's relaxed, warm Mediterranean-inspired style and recipes.
