Pudding is one of those desserts. It's so neatly at home amongst creamy and decadent while still straddling light, fluffy, or fruity.
The funny thing? Pudding often gets a reputation for being pretty ho-hum. Maybe it conjures up images of powdered ingredients in a box or perhaps even lumpy memories of a great aunt's concoction. But we've found a few recipes that will forever change the way you see pudding. Below are some of our favorite recent finds &mdash a few we've actually made and a few we can't wait to try. What's your best pudding recipe?
• Homemade Pistachio Pudding - Joy the Baker
• Meyer Lemon Pudding - The Galley Gourmet
• Nutella Pudding - Food 52
• Rice Pudding with Coconut Milk - Sassy Radish
• Southern Banana Pudding - The Merry Gourmet

I want the pudding in the picture! How can you show that to me and not give me the recipe. Must have!
Second that.
I thought the photo's recipe was for the Southern Banana pudding?
The pudding looks great (I think it is the southern banana pudding though just in a different presentation), but what I really want are those jars!! Where'd they come from??
Hi all. I never love to promote my personal blog on The Kitchn, but that photo is my recipe and you can find it on A Sweet Spoonful:

Thanks; enjoy!
Those are Weck canning jars -- here's their website: http://www.weckcanning.com/
Thanks for the links :)
... you can also buy Weck jars at Heath Ceramics (quicker shipping, I believe).

I had an AMAZING version of banana pudding at Thanksgiving (or was it Christmas...) but it was from Paula Deen: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/not-yo-mamas-banana-pudding-recipe/index.html
Clearly you guys are channeling me. I just made Joy's Pistachio Pudding an hour ago. I can't wait until Passover ends tonight to eat that cornstarch thickened goodness.
MMMM!
Can I ask where the jars came from in the photo of this yummy recipe? I've been looking for some jars just like that for my son's baby food!
nevermind, i found the jars. for others who care, they are by Weck and can be found on the Heath Ceramics website: http://www.heathceramics.com/go/heath/homeware/store/index.cfm?storeCategoriesID=52
yah my first thought was "ooo nice jars!" thanks for the info!
My SO makes an awesome banana pudding with jello banana pudding, bananas and nilla waffers. Very tasty! and quick.
Thanks for the shout out today. Your banana pudding recipe looks like it should be featured. And, like everyone else, I love the Weck jars. :)
