I love this idea because I often just want to make half a pie!!
Oh, hell no- just make two pies! Two pies are always better than one! :)
the fact that you can lift the bottom out of this makes it a winner. that is too cool.
It's a neat idea but if making half of one pie and half of the other at the same time, you would have to adjust the recipe to reduce volume and make sure that cooking times and temps were the same for both pies. It would be nice for transporting two seperate halves to a party or gathering. I think it's mostly a novelty.
