When installed this spice rack, constructed from 1/4" thick brushed stainless steel, appears to float on the wall. It would be a cool but otherwise ordinary shelf were it not the for the dip in the middle, perfectly sized to fit a bottle of olive oil or vinegar.

For $200 I won't be purchasing it anytime soon, but I tip my hat to the ingenuity!

Why pay $200 for a shelf that exposes your spices and herbs to sun, heat and light---things that are death to the freshness of spices.
so excessive....
It's cute, but not useful for people who actually cook.
Simple, elegant and beautiful! ... but one earthquake, or a heavy truck driving by, and you have spices and oil all over the floor. "As simple as possible but no simpler." From my perspective, this is a great example of a too-simple fail.
How about the balsamico, the canola oil, the soy sauce and the mirin?
It looks so neat and tidy. Unlike my huge tupperware full of spices....
Spices and olive oil belong in the cupboard, away from heat and light.
While spices may good bad too soon, this would be nice perhaps for a bathroom. Each different jar with a different bath salt.
Or even use it for things like loose tea, or such?
I agree it looks like it is made for people who don't cook. I like the look but to fill those small jars you would need to buy spices which usually come in containers bigger than that. Then what do you do with the big containers? Don't overthink your spice rack. Mine may be a mishmash of containers from different places but they all get used.
