Why are so many of these articles so old?
"From this week last year...," as well as the Flashback designation, should go a long way to explaining why these articles, presented here in digest, are "old."
Because they're rounding up some fall favorites from last year? "From this week last year..."
My family loves it when I spatchcock a chicken for roasting (in fact, it's my "go to" method for roast chicken these days) - somehow, it seems that the skin gets crispier, and I usually do the chicken in the broiler pan with the rack suspended over sliced potatoes and onions - a quick salad or a green vegetable and in about 35-45 minutes dinner is ready! I started doing this after I tried this recipe in Everyday Food magazine, and now there's a 5 minute video with Sarah Carey demonstrating it (http://www.marthastewart.com/903444/quick-roasted-chicken-potatoes-onions-and-watercress). It's the best!
