The company behind Soylent, the meal-replacement for busy people who don't have time to eat, has come out with an updated version of their product: Soylent 2.0.
With the new updates in mind, is this something you think you could ever drink? Er — I mean, eat?
In a rather lengthy and amusing tirade — part of which talked about how gross kitchens are – the founder of Soylent, Rob Rhinehart, announced his "solution" to eating: Soylent 2.0.
In this updated version of the meal replacement, Soylent will be sold in pre-bottled liquid instead of powder. According to the company's blog, the nutritional beverage includes soy for protein, and a lot of fat from "farm-free algae sources." The entire drink is vegan.
The new product will be available to ship starting October 15. For $29, you get a 12-pack of Soylent 2.0.
