Yesterday we posted a question about soup dumplings that got a few people scratching their chins... and thanks to WBGuy, we were shown the way toward an actual recipe. The original question referred to a French Onion Soup version (enjoyed at Stanton Social) of the traditional Chinese recipe (Xiao Long Bao), which has pork, ginger and scallion broth.
So here's the challenge... who is willing to try adapting this recipe with a French Onion Soup angle? It's open to your interpretation. Just promise us you'll report back, and send photos.
