Yesterday we posted a question about soup dumplings
that got a few people scratching their chins... and thanks to WBGuy, we were shown the way toward an actual recipe
. The original question referred to a French Onion Soup version (enjoyed at Stanton Social
) of the traditional Chinese recipe (Xiao Long Bao), which has pork, ginger and scallion broth.
So here's the challenge... who is willing to try adapting this recipe with a French Onion Soup angle? It's open to your interpretation. Just promise us you'll report back, and send photos.
