Multi-purpose wire organizers are cheap and easy to come by. You may even have one right now sitting on your desk or holding up books in your child's room. This idea brings that organizer into the kitchen and turns it on its head... well, on its side, actually.
Nesting your pots and pans in the cupboard is kind of a pain, because then you have to remove all of them to remove one. So instead try this idea from Martha Stewart: turn a wire organizer on its side, secure it to the cabinet with cable clips, and stack your cookware. It's such an easier, neater way to store everything!

That's...a whole lot of weight on the end of a lever, repeatedly stressing a cheap weld that already often snaps when being used upright under the weight of paper...
That is a really good idea - I do that with plates already, it works really well!
How would you secure this with cable clips? Not seeing that in the photo.
These look like better quality versions used in a kitchen to hold baking sheets, cutting boards so the welds may well be better than the ones used in the home office.
That said, not a bad idea but I would prefer to hang my pans when I can though.
I see how this could be great for the fry pans (top photo) with the long handles that need to be horizontal, but I don't see how the baking dishes (bottom photo) are any more easily accessed like this than they would be if the rack were used as designed. I agree with itmaybejj that the weight would snap those racks in fairly short order.
I used this and cleared up a problem I'd had for years. Next stop, the cookie sheets and muffin pans!!
I too use these wire racks (all of which I bought for a buck each at Goodwill) to corral my baking pans and sheets, but I put them the cupboards in upright as originally intended, which works just fine.
I use these (vertically) to hold baking sheets, pizza stone and pan, cutting boards and cooling racks. If you have the space, I really recommend using these in their normal, upright position.
Also, I'm with the other commenters - how are these attached to the cabinet?
I didn't think of the hack, but I did get an organizer for pans like this from Crate and Barrel as a wedding gift, and I love it.
