How do you deal with your pot lids? Do you stack them in your cupboards, or lay them upside down in your under-oven pan drawer? Here's one solution we really like for those pesky pot lids...
This Lid Organizer from Fresh Finds is a pull-out cupboard insert that lets you slot your pot lids in sideways. It stores the lids on their sides and keeps them out of your way so you can stack pans and pots in a more efficient manner.
What do you think? Do you use a lid storage solution like this? How do you keep those lids organized and easy to find?

I need this!
me too!
nice
I bought this at the container store and i love it. I keep some lids and cutting boards in it.
nifty!
What about tupperware/food storagecontainers (mine are mostly re-used yogurt containers and the like)? I sorta have a system to manage the containers and lids. But it's only a sorta system...
I used a dish drying rack in the bottom of my cabinet for pot lid storage. It's the perfect fit, and fits all of my tops well, and is an inexpensive quick fix.
I use the lids upside-down on the pots, so I can stack them. Whatever mine are made of, I'm not supposed to stack the pots inside each other to avoid damage to the surface. But I use the lids themselves to help store the pots. It's a pain to try and get the bottom one out, though...
A few of my pots are also just stored in the open-shelving style cupboards, and they have their lids on them too.
I just use a big bin, similar to jackson869's idea. It's actually a clear plastic container that Costco used to sell with a lid as a "shoe box", but you could probably fit about 4 average pairs of shoes in the sucker. It hols all my pot lids except for one that is a pesky bugger that always likes to slid out, no matter how deep I place him. My most frequently used lids are obviously always on the top, as they are in constant rotation, but when I need something from the bottom, it is as simple as pulling the bin out of the cabinet and rooting through on the counter. I have at least 15 lids, so one of those little organizers would never do me. I'd probably need about 3, which actually would take up more space than my current system. It may look cooler, but obviously, that wouldn't work for me and all my zillions of pot lids.
I really like the lid storage option from Ikea. I can't remember the name (I mean, who can remember those names?!), but we attached it to the inside of one of our cabinets (you can also hang it on the wall) and it's a great solution for holding our pot lids.
