Jessica's favorite OTHER entry: Well, my own kitchen is my current favorite, but that is really because I spend most of my day now inside my apartment with my 2 week old baby Viv, so using this recent remodeled kitchen is pretty great. For the other finalists, I like #9 Frank's colorful collection, because it is both colorful and shows a lot of personality, which is often lacking is kitchen remodels. Each object looks like it has a good story behind it, and I like that.
What's the best thing you've ever cooked in this kitchen? My favorite dish is a mint-bordeaux leg of lamb, which one has to share with at least 2 others to eat the whole leg. The first time I made this, I felt like a rock star. Hoping we'll get to do this again with some wonderful wine, which I am now enjoying again with great pleasure!

What is your next improvement (if you could do anything)? To be honest, getting use of both of my arms will be the biggest improvement in my kitchen (!) And eating simultaneously with my husband will be a close second. For anyone that has survived the initial weeks of a newborn, you know where I'm coming from. Those things aside, I'd like to expand my cooking skills, and not just grill everything, which is what we do a lot, being former Californians.
