Have you heard about Small Business Saturday? Tomorrow, Saturday November 27, is a day to celebrate and support your favorite local and small businesses, and to make sure they get a big slice of the holiday shopping action. We absolutely love shopping for kitchen and dining things in Etsy's crafts marketplace, so here are 30 of my own personal favorite small shops from there (and elsewhere, too). Take a look through for ideas for yourself and others this holiday season.
A big shout-out for this idea goes to Maggie Mason of Mighty Girl, who posted her own list of favorite Etsy shops for Small Business Saturday. See her (non-kitchen-related) list here:

Wow, $45-$96 for measuring spoons. Cute, but I'm gonna pass.
No offense to the Etsy shopowners featured here, but I think most of these items would appeal more to people who don't cook than those who do.
I agree with engineergirl: with all of the various kitchen/cooking utensils that make up the toolbox of a serious cook practically spilling out of my cabinets, I just can't afford the space for items that serve one purpose and take up room (like that "egg and soldiers" only plate, or those bulky cookie stamps, or those spice test tubes that look like they couldn't hold whole cinnamon or nutmeg, and that you could never get a spoon in to measure ground stuff, etc, etc...), no matter how cute they are. When it comes to actual kitchen tools, the best bets are high quality, multi-functional objects that hold up and do their jobs without hogging space.
That being said, all of the stuff presented here is very beautiful and I love how it looks. :D
does anyone else love the black t shirt in the photo at the beginning of this post? and does anyone have an idea of where to find one like it?
lborealis-- I love it too! I keep scrolling back up to look at it. I'd love to know the source as well.
