Slow Food NYC Fall Field Trip to Stone Barns Center

Slow Food NYC is hosting a field trip to the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Pocantico, NY (just outside of Tarrytown).

Spend the day in the crisp fall air on this working, sustainably managed farm. After a thorough tour of the grounds, which are spectacular in the fall, participants will pitch in with some hands-on farm chores. Wear your farm-wear.

After the work is done, there will be a picnic lunch and a discussion in the Haybarn about how to take the pracitce of sustainability off of the farm and into your own life.
