This corn stripper seams interesting since we can measure the quantity directly from the holder. I did not try it but usually OXO products work well.

I usually dont go for single purpose gadgets, but I am going to buy that corn stripper. I love fresh corn, but after the corn incident of 86 involving my brother, some burnt corn on the cobb and a dare I couldnt refuse I just cant look at corn on the cobb the same.
