See more photos below... These are not our kitchens. These are not our friends' kitchens — even our friends who have more money and space that we do. Who knows how many of these kitchens are all for show... We hope that the owners spend time cooking in them and make use of their incredibly beauty, not to mention their high-end amenities.
Nevertheless, they are stunning to look at. One nice feature is that the photo galleries show plenty of details like cabinet pulls, appliances, and materials so that there is something to take away, if you happen to be renovating or redecorating. And there are plenty of ideas to steal. We saw some unique mirrored cabinets in A Rustic and Natural LA Kitchen. We also loved the white subway tiles in Essential Style in Lakeville, Connecticut (and we're pretty sure Pottery Barn makes a knockoff of those dining chairs).
So while a salamander or wood-burning pizza oven are not on our short list, we thoroughly enjoyed the eye candy.
