It's easy to showcase a million dollar kitchen as a source of inspiration, but are those unattainable inspirations entirely helpful? I find it much more satisfying to see a down-to-earth kitchen — one that I know I can offer me real life inspiration. Simone's kitchen is just such an inspiring kitchen.
Simone's kitchen is exactly that — down to earth and attainable. She didn't fill her kitchen with the lastest technologies or $500 cookware. She embraces the rustic vintage quality of most homes in the LA area and chose the decor accordingly.
The orange wall color is a perfect way to smile at the many years the kitchen has seen. Simone perfectly accessorized the space with vintage items. Take a trip to your local flea market this weekend and you can certainly get this look!

This kitchen feels incredibly welcoming. The warm orange color is a nice pop against the unifying white. I feel warm and fuzzy looking at the well-loved tools, the happy houseplants, and Simone herself sitting at her dining table. And that floor! This is cute as a button.
I love this kitchen. The orange is so happy and bright.Love the easy care tile also.
This is a great post.Anyone can live in and with this kitchen.
This comes pretty close to a dream kitchen for me -- I'm not a fan of glossy, sophisticated kitchens dripping with metal and granite. The terrific stove (envy), orange wall color, retro floor: I find this utterly charming and makes me feel like cooking.
Love this kitchen. It reminds me of mine. My back splash is painted about that same shade. I would rather have that kitchen than a million dollar one any day. It has style!
I love the color, and the kitchen! I've always hesitated to paint orangey colors in my kitchen b/c Its supposed to stimulate you to eat more. I need like, zero help in that department. :)
Beautiful Kitchen. I like homey looking kitchens which have heart to them, rather than big box kitchens with teeny stoves and ranges which do nothing for you but offer :::Stainless steel:: she's done well with this kitchen. I love everything about it.
