iGourmet: An Online Source for Holiday Gifts

Store Profile

Pin it button big

iGourmet was an early adopter of e-commerce — their online catalog opened in 1997, and over the past decade they've become a premier source for specialty foods. If you're someone who likes giving cheese of the month clubs or regional food gift baskets, they're one to bookmark.

Their site has some nice features for gifters, including a make your own gift basket tool; good ideas for cheese gifts, wine gifts, and monthly clubs; as well as options for shipping outside the US.

Based out of West Pittston, Pennsylvania, they're a member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania eCommerce Association, which includes other megasites like VintageTubAndBath.com and BabyAge.com. While the "megasite" label might scare some away, they have the advantage of a pretty huge inventory, including over 600 specialty cheeses.
