Step into the Cook's Library and you'll be tempted to sink into the plump, over-stuffed sofa and leaf through their collection of cook books for hours. Dedicated to all things culinary, the selection is outstanding and they are guaranteed to have whatever book you're looking for, no matter how specific or general it might be. If you are unsure what exactly you want, the staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable and are more than happy to offer suggestions. It's likely you'll find yourself engaged in a passionate discussion about what you've been cooking lately.

They often host book signings and every year during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books they co-sponsor the culinary stage, which features cooking demonstrations by some of the top chefs and cookbook authors in the country. If you've never been to the store. Parking is problematic, but it's definately worth checking out.
