Rice Container 25L by simplehuman
• $80
• Simplehuman
I've gone through periods where I ate large amounts of rice, and I always seemed to have a big bag of rice slumped on the floor of the pantry cupboard, shedding rice grains in every direction. This rice container from Simplehuman is engineered to store rice (or other grains) much more efficiently, with an airtight seal that keeps rice in and moisture out.

$80 to store rice? Uh, not a chance.
Great idea but it's a little expensive. My parents (who also bought rice in bulk) just kept it in a huge jar or vase. Not airtight but we never had an issue with bugs
Yikes, that's a pricey way to store rice--especialy when you're saving so much by buying in bulk. My mom stores her rice--and other bulk grains--in giant 10-gallon containers that she found an ice cream store selling and gave one to me a few years ago. It's airtight and cost only a dollar!
I just get the big dog food containers at the pet store to store rice in. Cheap and food safe.
