If you think vermouth is just something to splash into a cocktail, then Carpano Antica should change your mind. This is one of my favorite pre-dinner drinks (and nightcaps too!). Sipped over a big cube of ice, with an orange peel slipped into the glass, it tastes like figs, cinnamon, and dry cocoa. It's so delicious.
