There's something particularly perfect about baking bundt cakes in the fall. They're relatively non-fussy and tend to be a bit more substantial than other light, summery desserts. And they're a chance to really celebrate the warm flavors of fall.
Sure you'll need a bundt pan, but beyond that your equipment needs are minimal and recipe options endless. So what are you waiting for?

I love that scene. And I love bundt cake! My favorite birthday cake growing up was lemon poppyseed bundt with lemon glaze. *nom* These all look fabulous. Can't wait to try some of them!
I'll have to try some of these, especially the apple spice. My favorite bundt cake is this one: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Chocolate-Whiskey-Bundt-Cake-232636
It's incredibly easy to make - a one pot cake (you melt the liquid together with the sugar instead of creaming it in).
When I give out the recipe, however, I always tell people that it has to mellow a bit. It's pretty disappointing the day you make it, and a bit boring the second day. By the third day it's really good, and for the next week you will dream about it. Wrapped properly it will keep two weeks. Yum.
@vintagejenta: I think of that scene everytime I see or hear word bundt!
I love bundt cake too! Must get the bundt pans out soon.
While remodeling our kitchen and when clearing out all of our storage spaces, I pulled out a bundt pan. My reaction: " I didn't know I owned a bundt pan!" Four years later, my husband still makes fun of me and insists that the poor bundt pan suffers from PTSD from sitting neglected in a cabinet for over three years.
I think I need to go make a bundt cake now...
I already planned to make lots of mini bundt cakes for our thanksgiving feast... and do this with them: http://pinterest.com/pin/176357010/. Best idea ever!!! The apple spice would be good, maybe as well as chocolate?
