Do you still read food magazines? If you're looking for something new to try, you should definitely check out this roundup of food magazines at The Huffington Post — they profile 35 titles worth reading.
Ever since Gourmet closed we've been a little down in the mouth about food magazines; is there a still a market for gorgeous glossies? This list seems to say yes, with our current favorite, Saveur, leading the pack.
But there are other titles, too, that are branching out and trying new things, like Meatpaper, Gastronomica, and the Edible Community magazines with their hyper-local focus. One personal favorite is Alimentum, a literary journal that publishes essays, fiction, and poetry oriented loosely around food. It's a fabulous read.
Are you subscribed to any of these magazines? Which are your favorites?

Martha Concrete Lam...

Yowza! I get the first SIX (Gourmet included until demise) plus Martha's Living. No wonder I have piles of magazines . . .
Saveur is my favorite read these days.
Has the Huffington Post looked at Bon Appetit as of late? I definitely would put it near the bottom of the pile, not the top.
Or actually, is the rundown not in any particular order?
I absolutely love Vegetarian Times. Great recipes and the articles tend to be pretty good too -- that is, of course, if you are interested in healthy/organic/environmentally-friendly/cruelty-free cooking and lifestyle.
The Art of Eating is by far my favorite food magazine.
I subscribed to Meatpaper for a time, but I found it disappointing. I was hoping it would focus on meat curing, interesting heritage breeds etc but instead there was a lot about people who feel conflicted about eating meat (which I don't).
